Dam Square is located about 750 meters south of Central Station. The square is rectangular, about 100 meters wide from north to south and about 200 meters long from west to east. Dam Square connects the streets Damrak and Rokin, which run from Central Station to Muntplein. Well-known streets such as Nieuwendijk, Kalverstraat, Warmoesstraat, Nes, Damstraat and Paleisstraat will also end on Dam Square.
