The Beursplein is a square in the center of Amsterdam, between the Damrak and the Beursstraat. The stock exchange (Beursplein 5), the Beurs van Berlage and the Bijenkorf are located on the square. The Beursplein is regularly used for various events, such as: the annual Klein Montmartre art market (an allusion to the Montmartre artists` quarter in Paris), political demonstrations focused on the financial world and musical performances.
