São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport – Governador André Franco Montoro (IATA: GRU, ICAO: SBGR) is the largest airport in Brazil and South America, being the second busiest in Latin America in terms of number of passengers transported (after the Mexico City International Airport). In freight transport, it is second after El Dorado International Airport, in Bogotá, Colombia. With an area of 14 square kilometers, the airport complex has its own road access system. The Helio Schmidt Highway extends along part of the perimeter of the airport, connecting with the Presidente Dutra and Ayrton Senna highways. The entire structure for passengers is divided into three terminals, totaling 260 check-in points.
